Plot • There were 5 mice getting ready for the winter season • 4 of them gathered food while Frederick “gathered” sun rays, colors, and words • During the winter months, the food started to run short • Frederick was then called upon to give the group his supplies • He gave the mice visions • Sun rays that kept them warm • Colors they were able to clearly see in their minds • Words that made them appreciate the four seasons
