  3. www.ess.com is your access to our systems You will receive an email with your User ID and PIN

  4. Please enter your user ID and PIN

  5. Scroll Down to Create an Absence

  6. Select day or days you will be out by clicking on the day or days. Any day you select will highlight to blue

  7. Some staff will have the ability to say yes or no to needing a sub, please check with your supervisor to confirm prior to booking your absence

  8. Select your absence reason from the drop down menu and select time – Full Day, Half Day AM, Half Day PM or Custom For two hour absences, you would select custom absence, and record the time you will be out. Please always select no sub needed for any absence 2 hours or less.

  9. Please load Lesson plans, worksheets or homework for the sub – this will help them to be more successful with your class Some absence reasons will require notes Any special notes to the sub located here

  10. This will create absence and allow our subs to see the assignment You can create the absence and assign the sub. If you assign a sub, you must have prior communication with them before booking them to the absence

  11. Every absence saved will have a confirmation number, showing it has been recorded

  12. This shows scheduled absences

  13. If you need to delete an absence, click the delete button and it will remove the absence and contact the sub letting them know they have been removed from the absence

  14. Absence Management – On the Phone Call 1.800.942.3767. You are prompted to enter your User ID (followed by the # sign), then your PIN (followed by the # sign). • Create an Absence (within the next 30 days) – Press 1 • Check Your Absence Reason – Press 2 • Review Upcoming Absences – Press 3 • Review a Specific Absence – Press 4 • Review or Change Your Personal Information – Press 5

  15. ESS – Referral Program Each successful referral will earn you $75!! Up to $525 total each school year!! The referred candidate must: -Complete their application -Become hired -Work eight (8) or more days within their first 30 calendar days -Not have undergone any disciplinary action
