Ender’s ordinary world

1. Ender’s ordinary world He lives on earth in the future. He is a third child and really intelligent.

2. Frodo’s ordinary world • He is a Hobbit and lives in a small village. He has an uncle and many friends.

3. Ender’s call to adventure • Graff comes and tells him that he wants him to go to battle school. He decides to go because he wants to become important.

4. Frodo’s call to adventure • His uncle leaves all of his things to Frodo including a very powerful ring. Then one of his friends says that he needs to take it to someone who can understand it better. So they set off into a journey.

5. Refusal of call • Ender- He isn’t sure in whether he wants to go to battle school or not. He doesn't want to leave his family epically Valentine. • Frodo- He doesn't think that he is the right person. And he wants to just pack up the ring and store it away forever.

6. Meeting with mentor • Ender- When he is in command school he meets with Mazr. He was a really good fighter, and he comes to try to teach ender things. • Frodo- Frodo meets with Gandalf and he teaches him a lot of wise things and leads him threw a lot of thing.

7. Crossing the threshold • Ender- when Ender crosses the threshold it would be when he goes to battle school because he is pretty much entering a new world. • Frodo- when he goes onto the journey to explore and understand the powers of the ring.

8. Tests, allies, enimies. • Ender- Ender gets a lot of tests like when he is in battle school. Also when he is in command school he gets so many tests. His allies are hot soup bean petra, and Graff kind of. His enemy is the buggers and the teachers at battle school. • Frodo- His tests are when he gets to chose what he wants to do with his ring. His allies are all of his companions that he fights with. His enemies are everybody trying to take the ring away and use it for evil.

9. Approach • Ender- when he is at battle school he is learning new things like tactics. • Frodo- his approach is when his friends start to teach him a little bit of fighting so if he got in trouble he could be ready.

10. The ordeal • Ender- when he has to fight Bonzo because he is facing life or death and is very afraid. • Frodo- When he has to face all of his enemies and fight then and protect the ring with his life.

11. The reward • Ender- When he gets to go back to earth on the lake house and gets to see Valentine. • Frodo- His reward is he gets the knowledge of life and the ring.

12. The resurrection • Ender- When he is in command school and the final simulation and he really is fighting the buggers. • Frodo- when he and his allies are fighting the orksand have there final battle.

13. The road back • Ender- When he is done fighting he gets to go back to a weird planet that was once inhabited by buggers. • Frodo- When he is on his journey to his shyer and to his little village.

14. Return with the Elixir • Ender- He stays on Aros and witch is the old bugger planet where he plans to continue to be a commander. • Frodo- he is back in his village and he still has the ring and he doesn’t really know what to do but he wants to help with it and not use evil.
