  2. ADROP's Unity Health Clinic (confirmed & assigned) Elise Pizzi – primary contact The Unity Health Clinic is a free clinic open to the public that provides basic medical care and screening by appointment. This ever expanding clinic is located at Philadelphia's Health Center #1. The medical care and screening at ADROP'S Unity Clinic are provided free of charge by volunteer Nurse Practitioners who hold prescriptive privileges. The Nurse Practitioners administer a limited amount of medication on-site and then encourage patients to utilize area pharmacies, which provide a month's supply of medicines at minimal cost. http://www.rightsofthepoor.org/UnityHealthClinic/

  3. Work to Ride (confirmed) Mr. Joseph Manheim - Board Member Work to Ride provides activities that promote discipline, self-esteem, motivation, social development, life skills, academic achievement and physical fitness through year round programs that encourage long term participation. In addition, educational and cultural resources are provided to participants and the community-at-large, as well as vocational guidance and opportunities for careers in related fields. http://www.worktoride.net/stage/

  4. Little Smiles - (confirmed) Charlotte K. Hummel - Executive Director Imagine being a 7 year old child with an illness or an unfortunate circumstance that prevents you from enjoying the simple things in life. Playing outside or going to a friend’s house, these are the things we take for granted. Most of our children’s daily routine consists of ongoing medication regimen, needles, various medical treatments, and everyday pain, as well as the inability to be a child due to circumstances beyond their control. Little Smiles’s mission is to help kids escape the reality of their unfortunate circumstances, even if it’s for a short period of time. Our main goal is to put a smile back on their faces. We respond to the needs of the children, and provide whatever we can to make a child’s day a little brighter. http://www.littlesmiles.org/about-us

  5. Orchids of Light (confirmed) Rich Geisel – Founder The Orchids of Light Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the causes of injustice and poverty. We believe that present in every community are the assets and strengths necessary to develop a path to improving the lives of the exploited and oppressed. ‘Orchids’ acts as a bridge connecting small NGO’s dedicated to fostering self-sufficiency to the global donor community. Our focus is raising funds, encouraging and supporting volunteerism and providing moral leadership all while guaranteeing accountability, transparency and integrity in each relationship. Orchid’s priority is to establish a personal relationship with all of its supported partners and their projects. Each initiative shares dynamic local leadership, strong community support and is a tested model ready for expansion and donor involvement. http://orchidsoflight.org/

  6. The Supply (confirmed & assigned) John Suh - Chief Operating Officer The Supply is a collection of visionaries, storytellers, leaders, innovators, thinkers, connectors here and abroad, poor and rich, young and old, who believe that education is transformative and can unlock the solutions to today’s human plights. The world has engrained in us a perception of education that feeds into what we like to call the supply and demand model. We get an education to “advance” in society. However, at The Supply, we believe that education is a call to action, that our education enables us to radically transform the communities around us, locally, nationally, and globally. That contrary to common belief, supply does not meet demand. Rather, supply collides with supply, creating a more beautiful world. http://thesupply.org
