  3. There are loads of different sketching styles! Which one have you got??? The ‘illustrator’

  7. Sketching styles becoming and all rounder Pick a card form the pack This is who you will be designing for. 5 Minutes analyse that person. What are there wants needs requirements?

Sketching styles use your whiteboards • Lonely • Boring • Overweight • Lack of social skills • Obsessive • Likes computers • Gadgets • Nerd • Wears glasses • Sweaty • Thin and lanky • Video games • Dark room • Long hair • Sit in room • Curtains closed • Like the dark • Stay up late • Don’t get out of bed • Poor diets • Clever • Weird • Know pointless facts

  9. Sketching styles becoming and all rounder You need to use the preformed sheet and the outlines steps to design something to make Toast?

  10. Draw 6 shapes onto an A3 sheet” Change there form in some way either by removing or adding material When your done your sheet should look something like this!

  11. sketching styles The ‘all-rounder’ Step 4:Pick your 3 favorite concepts! Decide where the toast is going to be placed on each of these three sketches and…. sketch that on in blue pencil crayon

  12. sketching styles The ‘all-rounder’ Step 5:Add a directional arrow to show the movement (how the bread goes in/out). Step 6: Draw around these 3 chosen shapes using a biro to make them clearer

  14. sketching styles The ‘all-rounder’ Step 7:Decide on your two favorite concepts! Step 8 :add product features i.e.   # Mechanism to operate # Display for time/heat

  15. Step 8:Pick your favorite concept! Go around the outline to strengthen the silhouette with a thick OHP pen

  16. Step10:Finally, Describe any functionality using annotations (you might try a variation of annotation ‘squiggle’ arrows)
