Lives • Depending on care a goldfish can live for up to 45 years! • Goldfish sleep so be sure to turn the light off at night • They like to be around other fish so be sure to add more to the tank
Care • Get a nice tank, 10 gallons at minimum with a filter • Clean the tank once every 2 weeks • Feed your fish 1-3 times a day, pellets or flakes • Turn off the tank light at night
Food/Nutrition • In the wild goldfish eat crustaceans, plants, and insects • A pet goldfish will eat Pellets or flakes • You should feed your fish 1-3 times daily
Fun Facts • Goldfish don’t have stomachs • Goldfish have a memory span of 3 months • Goldfish can grow to over a foot long • Goldfish can’t close their eyes • Goldfish can recognize human faces
