About Us… UMUBANO as a Rwandan word means “Cooperation” Cooperation is the process of groups of organisms working or acting together for their common/mutual benefit, as opposed to working in competition for selfish benefit. Umubano - Tours and Intercultural Expedition also known as the two brothers business is a successful and reputable tour company operated by two bothers GAKURU Peter and GATO Herbert, involving in some other local members who shares 20% of the business and employing a team of professional tour guides and local Guides in Rwanda, DR Congo, Burundi and Uganda.

Rwanda Tours After an earlier morning breakfast at around 5:30AM, our English / French speaking guide will meet you at your hotel or elsewhere in Kigali – short briefing and drive to the Eastern part of this country to the Akagera National Park. The following morning, set off for the safari heading to south western Uganda with a stop at the drum maker then at Equator of Uganda for snaps and breakfast. After breakfast, drive through twisted, winding roads and lake dotted countryside, before getting into the lower thorn and Savannah scrub lands of Lake Mburo National Park, the long drive between the main road and park entrance is an excellent opportunity to see the flora and fauna, including monkeys, impala and a huge variety of birds.
