  4. M U S T We use must+ verb to talk about obligation. You must do your homework. You must speak English here.

  5. M U S T N ‘ T We use mustn’t+ verb to talk about prohibition. You mustn’t eat in the library. You mustn’t park here.

  6. COULD We use could+ verb to talk about ability in the past. He could swim when he was five years old.

  7. SHOULD We use should+ verb to give advice. You should help your schoolmates.

  8. SHOULD We use shouldn’t+ verb in the negative. You shouldn’t eat so much cake.
