JAPAN Tokyo By: Zachary Sheehan
Travel Plans • Leave from T.F. Green airport • Land in Naha Airport • It will take approximately 15 hours and 11 minutes • I will bring my friends on the plane we will go together and talk almost all the way there
Weather • I will be traveling there in April • It will be damp and rainy when we get there • We will probably be wearing everyday clothing jeans and short sleeve shirts with umbrellas
Packing • I will bring my phone • My money (at least 300 dollars) • A few umbrellas • My friend • And my computer
Money • Yen is the money I will use in Japan • 100 yen equals 1 dollar in U.S. currency • I will bring 300 dollars
Cities and Towns • I will go to Naha’s wonderful gift shops , all of Okinawa, and lastly Tokyo, Japan. • These places I’m visiting I want to visit because Naha will be where my flight lands Okinawa looks amazing from pictures and Tokyo is the technological capitol of the world. • I’ll be going to gift shops and traveling around a bunch of stores and eateries to take in all of Japan or at least most of it has to offer
Famous Landmarks • The Tokyo World Tower it looks amazing at night like a beautiful light show it is a lot like going to France and looking out of the Eifel Tower only higher up. • The Kaminari Gates are huge gates leading up to a shrine its normally dressed up into beautiful handcrafted decorations. • The Shuri-Jo Castle is a huge castle from the 14th century Japan it has quite a few public attractions just the immense size of it draws you closer.
Food • I’ll most likely be eating sushi, rice, noodles, and soy products. • I think I’ll be eating the sushi more than any other thing though that sounds the best to me.
Language • To say hello in japanese I’d say Kon’nichiwa • To say goodbye in japanese I’d say Sayounara • To say please in japanese I’d say Kudasai • To say thank you in japanese I’d say Arigatou
Be careful! • I believe I should only stay away from one thing in Japan is the Yakuza if I ever with a slight chance run into them. • I have so many things to say to this countr4y as a whole so please when you go the first shrine you see please say thank you for me.
