About Mrs. Easley’s Expectations • Every student prepared every day with pencil, paper, binder, etc. • Homework completed daily • Every student attends tutoring when needed • Every student participating every day • Every student abiding by every school rule every day • Every student using appropriate language every class period
About Mrs. Easley’s Entrance Procedures • Shake Mrs. Easley’s hand as you enter. • Pick up YOUR calculator and journal/quiz. • Sharpen pencils and prepare for lesson. • Note any homework questions in the appropriate place. • Begin writing in journal/working on quiz
About Journals • Mostly on Mondays and Fridays • Question will be posted at the beginning of class. • You have 5 minutes to complete the journal entry. • You must write in complete sentences. • Journal entries will be two daily grades each six weeks
About Quizzes • Tuesdays and Block days (although sometimes on Friday also) • Quizzes will either be posted on the screen or a handout near the calculators • Each quiz is a daily grade. • Unless otherwise directed, notes may be used on quizzes but work MUST be shown to receive any credit.
About Homework • Homework is assigned by unit. • Complete homework daily. Quizzes are based on homework problems. • Odd problems are assigned so that you can check your answers. • Be prepared to ask questions about the homework questions. • Post page number and questions number in the appropriate place before class begins
About Binders • 1 ½ or 2 inch binder with dividers labeled Glossary, Notes, Homework, Tests, Test Prep • Define all vocabulary in the glossary (definition in your own words along with an example) • Keep yourself organized all year • Binders will be graded each six weeks for a test grade

About Tutoring Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:45-3:45
About Paper Headings • Upper Right hand corner • First AND Last Name • Class and Period • Date • Assignment Title
About Exit Procedures • Last 4 minutes of class • Return calculators to correct pocket • Return Journal to the correct drawer • Turn in quizzes/papers to proper tote • Sit quietly in your desk until the bell rings
About During Class Procedures • Restroom passes are NOT allowed while I am lecturing. • If you need to sharpen your pencil, do so before class. If the need arises, raise your hand BEFORE getting out of your desk. • Pay attention for visual cues when working in groups or individually
