What is the Role of the FGDC in growth of the GSDI? • Karen Siderelis, Director of the USGS GIO supports • Al to continue working with the leadership to: • General secretariat support • Funding scenarios • Staffing • Fundraising • Etc. • Keith Thackrey is a welcome addition • Fundraising and outreach • Doug will continue and expand activities • Technology and OGC

What is the Role of the FGDC in the GSDI Secretariat? • Harlan Osrud on legal and ecomonic • Julie Bender Maitra will continue in ISO • Henry Tom help with standards and capacity building • Kate will continue her work with the support of both GSDI and EDC as well as many other partners • Others as needed

  18. What can we do together? • Selling the importance of SDI to national strategies and decision-making • Conduction joint meetings • Partner in fundraising • Partner in capacity building • Partner in demonstration/test-bed projects

  19. What can we do together? • Regional and Global Compatibility • Expanding the Cookbook • Exchange of proven practices • Financing, supporting resources • Etc ……………
