  2. Background The time of troubles was the time period in Russian history between the end of the Rurick dynasty anthe establishment of the Romanov dynasty (1598-1603) Russia suffered a famine By the end of it all about 1/3 of the population died about 2 million people

  3. Cont. The famine from 1601-1603 was mainly because of extremely poor harvests Extremely cold temperatures all throughout the year led to a massive food shortage In affect a massive famine ensued Its rumored that some even resorted to cannibalism! только в России!

  4. The False Dmitri In 1603 the Russians learned that they thought was rightful to the throne wasn’t. He was actually part of Polish Royality What did they do to him? Russian style- they killed him, burned him to ashes then fired them from a cannon back at Poland только в России!

  5. Poland Invades Soon after the death of Fake Dmitri Poland knew it was the right time to invade They soon took over Moscow and other cities

  6. Taking it Back The russians needed to take back the Motherland They finally did in 1611 with the recapture of Moscow

  7. With Russian Nukes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
