Basics • Program Dates: • Start: Arrive in Madrid on June 28th by 11:00 AM • Meet in designated hotel by 6:00 PM on June 28th • End: Must leave and check out by noon on July 26th
Basics • Classes: • 8 units of Cal Poly credit • Spanish classes: 102, 103, 201, 202, 203, 301, 302 • Hum 310- Culture of Spain • GEOG 308-Global Geography
Payments • The $765 non-refundable deposit is due by this Friday March 14th • The next payment is $2,155 (half of the total registration & tuition and program fee, minus the $765 non-refundable deposit) and is due on or before March 27,2014 • The next payment is $2,155 (remaining balance) and is due on or before April 25,2014
Flights • When arranging your flight, please note: • Arrive in Madrid no later than 11am on Saturday June 28th • Cal Poly International Center recommends you buy changeable/refundable tickets • Cost is higher, but gives you the flexibility to make changes • If you have to make a connecting flight, be sure you have at least 2-3 hours between flights to make sure you and your luggage arrive together • Students will be required to complete a ‘Flight information’ online form that outlines your flight itinerary
The Basics: Roommates • Homestay • Roommate selection • Double occupancy rooms • Students can choose roommates • All students must complete the online accommodations form • If you do not have a roomie, the Cal Poly-Led Programs office can match you up with someone

Mandatory online pre-departure • All students must complete an online pre-departure training through PolyLearn • Students will be enrolled early Spring quarter • Must be completed prior to departure • Should take about 1 – 1 ½ hours
