Leadership Recommendation As the lines between technology and curriculum continue to become blurred, it is my recommendation that whoever serves in the role as Director of Technology, serves from an educational leadership perspective. While the job warrants a broader awareness of network infrastructure and management, a longer term impact on the role technology plays in the classroom and in the hands of students/staff members is ever growing and changing. Furthermore, the developing “Vision for 21st Century Teaching and Learning” initiative requires close collaboration and continued communication with curricular leadership. S.A. Hultquist, 2014
