Company Overview Lone Star is a fully integrated waste services company providing customers with the broadest range of solutions in the Houston Market. We have the containers, the trucks to haul them, the recycling facility for processing debris and the landfill, for ultimate disposal of the residual waste. Lone Star is a locally owned and operated, socially responsible company. Our principals have many years of direct waste management experience both on a local and national level. Hauling Lone Star operates a modern fleet of trucks equipped with the latest on-board technology. We have real time electronic dispatch and GPS which allows us to respond to customer’s needs in a timely and efficient manner. We offer 10, 20, 30 and 40 cubic yard open top containers and compactors. Lone Star drivers are experienced professionals who undergo constant safety training. As a matter of fact, driver compensation is heavily based on safety job performance.

Lone Star is a leader and innovator in construction & demolition debris recycling in the Houston market. Our Tanner Road Facility is a state of the art Type V recycling operation (TCEQ MSW #40217). Opened in 2006, this facility incorporates the latest design criteria and equipment for processing waste. This facility is licensed to operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, allowing us to provide our customers unequalled service in this arena.
Recycling & Disposal Lone Star Recycling & Disposal Facility, a Type IV solid waste landfill (TCEQ MSW #2344) is located at 4107 South Sam Houston Parkway West, at the intersection of Beltway 8 and Hiram Clarke. This new facility conforms to all current and pending rules and regulations governing both design and operation. Additionally, all machinery used on site for processing waste is current model, which meets or exceeds EPA air quality standards for such equipment.
Lone Star – Recycling LEEDer U.S. Green Building Council LEED Certified Projects Lone Star specializes in hauling and processing waste for LEED certified projects. We offer recycling solutions that virtually no other hauler in the Houston market can – either comingled or source separated at the jobsite. This allows project managers the flexibility to choose whether to track recycling compliance by volume or weight. By Volume/Comingled With comingled waste, the customer places all debris into one container, which we haul to our licensed recycling facility for processing. Our highly trained staff sorts the waste, separating the recyclables from the residual and documents the volume/yardage of each commodity on Load Inspection Forms. These forms are then kept on file and forwarded to the customer upon request. This method reduces the number of containers required at a customer’s location, thus preserving valuable jobsite space. It also alleviates worker confusion and the need for additional man-hours to constantly monitor what is being thrown into the various recycle containers required for the source separated method. By Weight/Source Separated We also provide customers with the source separated option whereby compliance is tracked by weight. Under this scenario we will place a separate container for each recyclable commodity as well as a general waste container at the jobsite. The customer is responsible for separating the recyclables and loading them into their respective containers. Lone Star will then haul the containers to the appropriate recycling or disposal facilities and forward copies of all weight scale tickets to the customer as needed for tracking.
