  3. Primary Roles • Co-ordinate both internal and external communication across the sectors and organisations • Agree work plans and timetables • Share best practice • Report and provide feedback to the RPA Steering Group

  4. Key Communicators • Have some standing in the organisation and can relate to both senior management and staff • Be able to disseminate information • Collate responses from staff and assist in answering queries • Ensure all managers have the information they need • Monitor communication channels and their effectiveness

  5. Structure for Communicating • Executive Information Service OFMDFM • Local Government representatives • Bulletins issued to the 26 ‘key communicators’
