Learn important instructions for presenters at the 2012 Learning 2.0 Conference, including setting up audio, sharing profiles, managing slides, and engaging participants effectively.

Welcome to the 2012 Learning 2.0 Conference! Important Instructions for Presenters and Moderators: Check your own microphone / speakers by running Tools > Audio > Audio Setup Wizard Turn on chat capability for all participants (drop-down at the top of the participant window) Enable profiles: Tools > Profiles > Show Everyone Look through these pre-loaded slides so that you are familiar with them. Upload your presentation when you are on the page that says “LOAD SLIDES HERE” Discuss duties between presenter(s) and moderator. We recommend that the presenter start the session and introduce him- or herself, and the moderator support and watch/interact with the chat. Move to the main “Welcome” slide, fill in presenter name and session title, then leave this slide up for participants as they come in the room.

Start The Recording Now :) When you have started your session, and you reach this slide, please start the recording (look for the record button on the top right of your screen). This may require that you 1) stop the recording if it has already been started accidentally, and 2) erase any recording up to this point (Tools → Recorder → Erase Recording).
Where are you from? Moderator/Presenter:Give all participants whiteboard permissions for this slide, then turn off when you go to the next slide! Participants:Look for the “star” icon to the left, click on it, then click on the map to indicate where you are. You can also post your city/country/time/weather into the chat!
Presenters:LOAD SLIDES HERE.The next slide will be the start of your presentation! Participants:Please keep your chat conversations “on topic” so as not to distract the speaker.
Finish! Presenters/Moderators:Turn off the recording, and ask participants to leave the room so that the recording can process. Right-click on participant names to remove any stragglers. Participants:Thank you for attending! In order for the recording to process, you will need to exit the room by clicking on the "X" at the upper right of your screen, or going to File > Exit. When you do so a survey will come up giving you the opportunity to give feedback on this session!
