  2. HyvanAnaesthesia Limited is offering Hyvan Emergency Ventilator for COVID-19 use in Australia. It is not an ICU ventilator but can be used as a back-up ventilator when no ICU ventilator is available.

  3. The Hyvan Ventilator an also act as a Anaesthetic Machine. Some basic changes to the machine ensure the dual-mode compatibility of the machine..  The vaporizer and sodalime canister are removed and the ports  sealed.  The expiratory port is sealed. All outflow gas from the Hyvan Ventilator goes via the green inspiratory port with no expired gasses returned into the machine.
