Bow People bow to greet is most common in Japan. They consider it the best way to show their respect . No matter between subordinates, or salesclerks and customers, they always bow and smlie friendly. Gradually , it has been a kind of their feature of culture because in other countries it is almost impossible to see . When I took vacation in Osaka ,I did enjoy in their culture.
Smile or laugh The easiest and best way to express one person‘skindnessissmling.Smilingcanbeusedtonotonlygreetpeoplebutconveyone’s feeling. My father have always reminded me to smile broadly so that people would make good impression on others.
A kiss on the cheek In france ,people kiss on cheeks to greet .And the times of kissing base on how intimate they are. As what I know ,in the Western people do so.But sometimes they only shake hands with people they meet the very first time. For me ,I think I have difficulty getting with it ,because I am too shy to kiss others cheeks not to mention kissing strangers.
Give an embrace or a hug I think it is a normal way to great no matter where we are. Most of time we give a embrace or a hug when meeting someone we havenotseenforalongtimeand wewanttoshowtheemotionofmissingsomeonesomuch.
Shakehands Shake hands is suitable for any occasions ,like pary where would have a lot of people and you can not hug everyone for greeting at one time,it is too exhausting. Howere, people whose hands would sweat tare not suggested to use this way.
Nod It is an appropriate method to be polite when we greeting someone we are not familiar with, at least it is normal for Taiwaness. Or if we see someone in the distance but we can call her or him loudly,then we can nod with eye contact to send message “Hi ! ”
