  1. WELCOME! • South Pointe Elementary • 2014-2015 School Year • Overview of SPE PTA and • Friends of South Pointe Elementary (FOSPE)

  2. What is PTA & FOSPE? We are a group of parents at SPE that care. Our mission? That every SPE child can learn to the best of their ability in a safe, fun, professional, caring and loving environment. • SPE PTA is part of a national organization whose mission is to provide a powerful voice for children, be a relevant resource for families and communities and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child. Friends of South Pointe Elementary (FOSPE) is a 501(c)3 non-profit booster organization that supports SPE with curricular enrichment and classroom support programs. FOSPE is our safeguard against budget cuts and our weapon to enhance overall education.

Time • Volunteer in a Classroom • Become a PTA Member • Join a Committee or Help Plan an Event TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE Financial Support • Support our Circle of Giving: Donate or • encourage businesses to support our school • Shop at our School Store • Donate to your child’s classroom COME HAVE FUN AT OUR EVENTS!
