  7. 2011 Juvenile Offense Data • Data reflects 1,311 offenses entered into SAO STAC in which a juvenile committed an offense between January 1 and December 31, 2011 in Alachua county • Total Number of offenses were committed by 836 youth • 616 youth were charged with only one offense, (74%) • 194 youth committed 2-4 or more offenses, (23%) • 26 youth committed 5 or more offenses (3%) 171 offenses In 2010, the Total Number of offenses were committed by 979 youth • 760 youth were charged with only one offense, (78%) • 201 youth committed 2-4 or more offenses, (20%) • 18 youth committed 5 or more offenses (2%) 121 offenses 2011 Juvenile Offense Data SA0-8

Types of Offenses: Property: Criminal Mischief, Theft (petit, retail, grand), Fraudulent use of credit card, Forgery, Arson, Dealing in stolen property, worthless check. -Burglary Personal: Affray, Battery, Assault, Resisting arrest w/ violence, throwing a deadly missile, Kidnapping, Culpable negligence, Attempted carjacking with a weapon • Sex Crime Sexual Battery, lewd and lascivious, indecent exposure, voyeurism • Gun Firearm related offense • Dom Violence Domestic battery or assault -Robbery Other: Disorderly conduct, loitering, resisting arrest w/o violence, giving False Information, disrupting a school function, possession of weapon at school, possession of obscene material, juvenile escape. -Trespassing cases are separated Drug: Alcohol, Marijuana are separated out, from or other illegal Drug offense (possession of drug paraphernalia) 2011 Juvenile Offense Data SA0-8
