When you are absent: A parent should notify the office by 9:00 AM and pick up work between 2:00 and 4:00 The day you return, bring an excuse to the office and ask all your teachers for missed work

bullying • Bullying is an act of repeated aggressive behavior in order to intentionally hurt another person, physically or mentally. • Behaviors may include name calling, verbal or written abuse, exclusion from activities, exclusion from social situations, physical abuse, or coercion.
Bullying • When confronted by a bully: • There is power in Numbers! • Ask the bully to stop when surrounded by friends • Distract the bully • Ex: “Hey jon, we’re going to be late to class.” • Be confident, assertive, and stay calm • Tell the bully to “stop it!”, “Leave me alone!”, “whatever!”
