  2. Objective 1. To communicate the educational outcomes of the TILS project to teachers with an interest in the marine and coastal environments. 2. To disseminate TILS project educational documents.

  4. Introduction to the Marine Environment By Dr. Thon Tumrongnavasawadi

  5. Overview of TILS and demonstration of the resources that TILS has produced and how teachers might use them. By Dr.Yaowalak Monthum

  6. Managing the seas of Thailand at a time of changing climate By Dr. Michael A. Kendall

  7. Summary The teachers meeting was attended by 90 teachers from 75 schools in Bangkok, Aryuthaya, Pathumthani, Nonthaburi, Samut Sakorn and Samut Songkham Provinces. A further 30 audience members included representatives of KU Faculty of Fisheries, KURDI, the Think Earth Project and the Sustainability Asia. The meeting was also covered by 5 people from radio and TV stations such as the Government Public Relations Department and Channel NBT. 

  8. The meeting was to learn about the conservation sustainability of the marine environment and to disseminate TILS project material to teachers and the trainers of teachers. Teachers from Bangkok and Nonthaburi told us that they would like to use the teaching packs in marine camps and would like to contact KU to lead and provide support staff for such camps.
