  4. What do different functional areas do? Task: Create a simple mind map to show what each functional area does: • Finance • Human resources • Marketing • Operations • Administration • ICT Use the links to help you – on scheme of work

  5. Real businesses Now you know what each of the functional do focus on a big business and use the internet to help you identify what functional areas it has. Do similar but for a local business – you might have to go and find out what they do. Produce as mind map or powerpoint

  6. Plenary Write a twitter entry based on what you have found out today.
