Current Project • Designing a Global Information Portal • Team started at 7 people and has expanded to 32 • Integrating Multiple Legacy Sites • Client wants to share information across 91 offices in 32 countries • Client is an Industry Leading Consulting Firm • Revenues in excess of $3 Billion/year • Integrating Multiple Technologies

Integrating Multiple Technologies Runs on an HP Unix server platform Utilizes Java server pages with Java scripting-like language Uses a customized extension of the Java language to access the Oracle Data Storage Can access legacy data systems Using version 11 CORBA compliant A leader in internet search engines Facilitates the formation of a yahoo-like interface Enhanced document preview capabilities Integrates well with BroadVision (a version of the Verity search engine is actually packaged with a vanilla installation of BV) User interfaces are customizable

My Role • Helped Develop Initial Product • Chicago Based intranet project that expanded • Demonstrated Product to Firm Leadership • Convinced CIO the initial project should become the global standard • Global Roll-Out Lead for Office Intranet Portion • Travel to offices and provide training and support to build the portal for the rest of the firm • Communication Lead
