  2. Purpose • Host a Professional Speaker Event • Purchase basic nursing kits for those in attendance • Provide refreshments for event

Benefit • Provide students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience as well as insight and helpful tips from a professional in the Nursing field • Expose students to the functions and uses of CSUF’s Nursing Simulation Laboratory • Recruit members for NSA • Networking opportunity with peers and professionals • Involve students in organizations and extra-curricular activities

  4. When and Where? • When: April 9, 2010 at 4 p.m. • Duration: 90 minutes (ends roughly at 5:30) • Where: CSUF Nursing Simulation Lab • The workshop will be led by Jane Doe, RN, PhD and other nursing professionals from the American Association of Nursing. • NSAwill provide light refreshments.
