Wild Card Search Wild card searches can be used in any text field
Wild Card Search • Surround a known keyword with % signs. • Examples • Child% finds values that start with “Child”. • %Project% finds values that contain “Project”. • %Manager finds values that end with “Manager”. • %Health%Manager% finds values that contain the words “Health” and “Manager” in that order, even though words or letters lie between them.

Zooming Down a Scrolling List Box A faster technique is to put (click) your cursor anywhere inside the list box… …then press the first letter of the value you are seeking. You can scroll down a pick list to find your target value, but sometimes it’s faster to use your keyboard. To find the Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection on the pick list to the left, you would have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list. You will jump down the list to the first value that starts with that letter. Continuing to press that letter will scroll down one at a time through any other values that also start with that letter. “W”

Multiple Selections in a Scrolling List Box Make multiple selections in a scrolling list box by holding down the <Ctrl> key while you make your selections.

Expand the Search Results List By default, search results lists display 12 lines at a time. To show (or print) an entire list, change the value in the “Display X Lines” field to equal the total number of “found” records… then click Refresh.
