Current FACTA Initiatives • PERT Placement Survey • Sent to ITA’s at each institution • Information will be compiled and shared with all institutional members • TABE Talk • Held on April 6th. • 21 participants • Another one will be held in the fall.

2012 FACTA Council Nominations • Nominations for several council seats as well as president-elect will begin within the next month or so. • If you are interested in serving on the council, please consider being nominated. • Please note that all council members must be involved with one of the committees either as a member or chairperson.
FACTA-L • FACTA-L now serves double duty as our primary membership database. • Membership dues are only per institution or business. No more individual memberships. • Any individual associated with a paid institution or business may join FACTA-L! • There are currently 242 individuals participating in FACTA-L!

NCTA Updates – NEW STATE CHAPTERS • Kentucky hosted first Chapter formation meeting on March 2, 2011 • Arizona held its first organizational meeting on April 22, 2011. Silvio Rodriguez, NCTA State Liaison Coordinator, attended the meeting to help guide their formation. Their name is AZACTA!
NCTA Updates – Test Center Certification NCTA Governing Board announced awarding the NCTA Test Center Certification to the following institutions: • Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL • Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI • Pellissippi State Technical Community College, Knoxville, TN • Washtenau Community College, Ann Arbor, MI
NCTA Update – Test Center Certification continued Test Center Certification Committee continuing work on pilot phase of certification project. More schools should be added to list by San Diego conference Committee will present NCTA membership plans for making certification process operational.
