GHS Activities in Thailand • Task I : Set-up GHS committee & implementing system under CMS • Task II: Strengthen members and involving organizations through training and TOT
GHS Activities in Thailand (cont.) • Task III: Prepare education tools and materials for raising awareness in key prayers • Task IV: Disseminate and campaign to target groups
Task I: Set-up the GHS committee and implementing system under CMS Committee • More than 5 NGOs be members of CMS committee and sub-committee (GHS) • NGOs involve in developing National Roadmap
Task I: Set-up the GHS committee and implementing system under CMS Committee (Cont.) • NGOs join to process of setting regulations, designing the appropriate label, dissemination • NGOs involved in select the priority product (we start on 10 groups of hazardous products for household and public health uses)
Task II: Strengthen members and involving organizations through training and TOT • NGOs joined with the Nation seminar on “Strengthening the Role of Business/Industry and Public Interest/Labour Organization in GHS Implementation” Aug. 2006
Task III: Prepare education tools and materials for raising awareness in key prayers • Involve in survey of the appropriate GHS label in target groups
Task IV : Disseminate and campaign to target groups • Disseminate the education to consumer, agriculture, worker • Campaign for green consumer movement
