  2. Subjects • Our Historical “Globe.” • Insurance. • Update on Credit Cards. • Expense Reimbursement Records.

  3. The GLOBE Problem! • LW Created Broadband & made profit! • LW Used RRLH Trademark to make the profit! (LW Globe). • RRLH wanted fee for use of Trademark! • GRF/PCM Changed Name from LW to LWV! • RRLH took GRF/PCM to Court! • Court Ruled on case!

  4. What did the Court Order Say? 1). Remove the Globe by May 16, 2007, or, 2). Get written permission to display it.

  6. What did GRF/PCM elect to do? It ! Destroy

  7. Contempt ? Spite – Blame RRLH ? WHY ? Hidden Agenda ? No One Read the Court Order ?

  8. Security UpdatePCM’s Take! Letter to all gate guard employees dated May 11, 2007 stated that any “Guard” caught talking to any “reporter” about the “Globe” would be disciplined and fined. What could a “Guard” tell a reporter about the “Globe.”

  10. Did You Know ? • United Mutual eliminated Earthquake Insurance a couple of years ago. • Felt that their General Fund would cover costs • Third Mutual eliminated Earthquake Insurance a couple of weeks ago. • How does this affect you ?

  11. Credit Card Update

  12. GRF/PCM Press Release • Formed 3 person Committee to Review Credit Card Charges. • Committee finds nothing wrong, BUT, acknowledges that, “they don’t know what to look for.”

  15. Expense Reimbursement Records Only from a part of 1 Division out of 9 Divisions.

  18. Initial Observations • Credit Card Expenses are small part of the “questionable” costs. • Expense Accounts also need “Auditing.” • Employee “rewards/incentives” need oversight.

  19. What Doesn’t the Committee Understand? • 12/01/06 Credit Card Charge of $1,316.00 for “Sees Candies.” • 11/30/06 Expense Reimbursement of $1,189.65 for “Sees Candies.” • 4/12/06 Travel Expense Reimbursement of $40.05 for “Clippers Basketball Game.”

  20. Examples of Expenses: • 1st Qtr Birthday Lunch • Quarterly Birthday Lunch • 3rd Qtr Staff Luncheon • 4th Quarter Staff Luncheon • Holiday Luncheon • Xmas Lunch • Holiday Dinner • All Illegal and Unethical

  21. Committee MUST Understand That: • We need a Qualified independent Auditor to look into, not only: • Credit Card Charges. • But also, • Travel Reimbursement Charges. • Expense Reimbursement Charges

  22. Definition of QUALIFIED: • Knowledgeable with expertise in “Forensic” audits. • No connection to our current corporate attorney. • No connection to PCM • So, Where is OUR AUDITOR ?
