Performance Metrics - Summary • Wholesale batch processing issues • Wholesale batch processing performance in December continued to be impacted by events in November that caused delays in the batch schedule: • Database statistics refresh failed due to a software bug, causing a delay in the batch processing schedule and requiring several days to catch up • Failed data backup jobs on two occasions caused significant delays • Batch processing was on schedule as of December 23 • Changes in infrastructure were implemented on January 5, 2008, to improve ongoing batch performance 2
