  1. Latin America project Grade 5 Mrs Crawford/Mrs. Weather ford

  2. This information is going to follow the format of your Penn Valley Book with some additional information. But used your familiarity with how PV introduces regions to help you organize yourself.

  3. Gather the following information before you begin your powerpoint. Don’t forget to cite where you got the info

  4. This is your main slide : The title of your powerpoint country centered Your name smaller font Picture gr Slide 1 Save as for your powerpointxxxlatin

  5. Political Features 1. Capital and 3 major cities a. Gather information for each city that can be used a captions. b. Save pictures of the cities to your flash drive/ server so you can cut and paste them into your slides. c. Save a good political map of your country on your server/ flash drive. Slide 2,3,4,5

  6. Physical Features 1. Gather information on the major landforms of your country. Organize this in your copybook using the landform as a title and information you can use as captions underneath. a. Have pictures of each landform saved to your flashdrive. 2. Save a climate graph to your flashdrive. You will need a caption describing the climate of your country referring to the graph to support the climate you are describing. Slide 6,7

  7. Economic Activity 1. List 5 agricultural products and have pictures – remember to write down any “est” facts about the products 2. List 5 industries that are important to the country and have pictures – remember to write down “est” facts 3 exports 3 imports each on own slide save!!!!! Slide 8,9,10,11

  8. Interesting Facts This is similar to the “Did you know?” for the state-in-the-box. 1. Have 3 interesting/unusual facts about your country 2. Find pictures to go with the facts. Slide 12

  9. Slide 13 Tourism 1. Gather information on 4 places that a tourist would be interested in visiting. Write the name of the place in your copybook as a title and then make notes about what is special about that place for tourists. 2. Save pictures to your flashdrive.

  10. Start your powerpoint Go to design and select a design use dropdown to see additional colors/designs Choose the font, color,effect and size Choose your transitions Choose animation
