Al tener que atender la diversidad de estudiantes de esta institución, los mapas favorecen algunos tipos de inteligencia y aprendizaje, favoreciendo el uso de método constructivista que considero es el modelo por el cual la educación debe encaminarse. Los mapas permiten que el estudiante por sí mismo realice una construcción y llegue al conocimiento. Con ello, se deja de lado la verticalidad de la educación.
