  2. How to be a Meteorologist? Meteorologist is a scientist who forecast the weather. You need to have an advanced degree for becoming a meteorologist. A bachelor's degree in meteorology and then search for colleges offering internship courses required by the National Weather Service.

  3. Who hires an operational meteorologist? • National Weather Service/ NOAA • The Weather Channel • Insurance and Risk Management Companies • Universities and Colleges • The Military

  4. Things that they do. • Make visual observations • Take readings from weather equipment • Analyze current weather conditions • Interpret weather maps, models, satellite, and the radar data to create short-term and long-term weather forecast.

  5. What tools do they use? • Anonometers record the wind speed • Barometer measures the pressure exerted by the atmosphere by using air, water, and mercury. • Thermometers measure temperature
