  2. What is the natural resource you read about • We read about crops and soil and how they are made.

  3. How are crops created ? • It grows from the ground. It also needs water to grow. Crops are important Because some places are dry.

  4. Where are crops found? • They are found in farms and around my farm mostly in southern Alberta

  5. How is this turn into useful product? • It is cut and dried out and then is rolled up into a hay bale. This product is called hay bale/straws.

  6. How is this resource transported? • A tracker picks up a bale and puts it on a trailer.

  7. How can this resource hurt the environment if we don't use it wisely. • You cant use a big machine that leaks oil. • It can kill a crop.

  8. More information • I learned that hey keep cows fed in the winter. If we don't have crops, cows will die in winter.
