Raising the Participation Age You will have to remain in learning until the end of the academic year in which you turn 18 • Education • Training including apprenticeships • Employment incorporating learning
EducationOver 90% of Collingwood Year 11s will remain in full-time education • Free until the age of 19 • Some careers require higher qualifications • Different styles of learning • Different types of educational providers • Maths/English GCSEs or equivalent – new requirement
Things to consider… • Apply by Christmas. • Apply to two or three places - back-up plan. • Popular courses over subscribed - early application. • Travel – cost/time • Courses available – online prospectus + careers library + www.ucasprogress.com
