A Biome Is... A biome is a desert a rainforest but...A biome has to have animals in it and also has to have a lot of plants at least 1,000 because the plants help the biome grow. The most places you could find a biome are contents because there are alot of biomes in contents even though there are 7 continents there are still a lot of biomes.
Animals Some of the animals that live in the Tundra are foxes, wolves, and polar bears. Polar bears hunt by the power of scent and can smell their food at 20 miles (32 km)away. Polar bears will also eat berries and eggs in the summer. The stomach of an adult polar bear is so big that it can hold more than 150 pounds (68 kilos) of food!!
Plants Some of the plants that grow in the tundra is moss. The growing season in the tundra biome is at least 60 days. Many lichens, mosses, and small shrubs flourish in the arctic tundra tundra.
Climate In the winter the temperature can reach-50℉(-45.5℃).And we think our winters are bad!
Located Tundra biome is located in the arctic that is very far away! It is freezing there. If you were there you would want to bring a big winter coat!
