RefWorks is a web-based Bibliographic Management System (BMS) that serves as a comprehensive database for books, journals, and proceedings. It helps users keep records of sources, search for references, access full-text articles, and create accurate bibliographies. This guide aims to help users register, learn tutorials, use Write-n-Cite feature, create folders, export from databases, generate bibliographies, and cite while writing assignments.

1. Register with RefWorks • From Library homepage http://www.nwu.ac.za/library/index_a.html choose RefWorks • Type in firewall login and password • Click on YES or OK when promted • Click on Sign up for an Individual Account • Complete the registration form and Register
