  1. Lesson 31: The Book of Romans Scriptures in quotation marks are taken from the KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible.

  2. “Epistle” – a letter or written correspondence

  3. “Apostle” – One sent forth; modern equivalent is missionary. “Gospel” – Good News or Glad Tidings “Saints” – All true believers; literally, set apart ones “Grace” – Unmerited favor; God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense “Faith” – A firm persuasion that changes one’s life; Forsaking All ITake Him

  4. Romans 3:10-11 –“There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. “Justified” – The act of pronouncing righteous or acquittal from guilt Romans 3:28 & 5:1 –Byfaithman is “justified”

  5. Romans 3:23 –“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

  6. Romans 10:9-10 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

  7. Romans 12:1 – “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
