  5. This theme focuses on developing children's knowledge, understanding and skills in three key social and emotional aspects of learning: Managing feelings (with a focus on anger) Empathy Social skills Getting on and Falling out

  6. Getting on and Falling out Notice and celebrate children (and adults) who are: • Working co-operatively to help a group • Being a really good friend • Keeping calm and overcoming feelings of anger • Solving a difficult problem with a friend
