CERTIFIED TRAFFIC GUIDELINES • The basic methodologies for developing certified design traffic are NOT changing. • However, there are continuous improvements to the process, such as the development of this manual and maintaining electronic copies of all certified design traffic. Training Course • Similar to Traffic Academy Courses • 4-8 hours in duration • Focus on design designations, not “complex” projects – although these will be mentioned for comparison purposes. • Course materials will include examples of worksheets used to prepare certified traffic. • Pilot course expected by June 2007 (Targeting District Staff and Consultants) March 15, 2007 Ohio Travel Demand Model Users Group
