Context • In 2010, the council’s Agencies Supporting Schools Programme (ASSP) team became partner to a Daphne III funded international project, Porcospini (Hedgehogs). • Daphne III is a European Union funding stream to prevent and tackle all forms of violence against children, young people and women. • The project lead is an Italian organisation. Hedgehog was launched in March 2011. The project identifies and develop strategies and tools to prevent child sexual abuse.
