I attended UNCW earning my bachelors in Criminal Justice then my Masters from NCSU …GO WOLFPACK!!!!! While I began my career in New Hanover County the extent of my career has been here in Wake. I have taught at Broughton High School, Ligon GT Magnet Middle, and Holly Ridge Middle School. I am thrilled as I start the next chapter in my educational career and to do so with the impressive staff at Holly Grove Middle! I have one incredible son who will be entering 4th grade and an incredible sheepdog named Madison. I was born in NJ, spent most of my younger years growing up outside of Poughkeepsie, NY in a small town called Hopewell Jct. I arrived in NC at the age of 15, love it here and will never leave! I played college basketball and Woman’s Ultimate Frisbee which, we won the National Championship, have coached girls JV basketball as well as my son’s rec team, love American History (WWII in particular), all works by Edgar Allen Poe, and Christmas is my favorite holiday! The knees are bad now so I stick to garden therapy just love to work in my yard and grow all sorts of good stuff! While the beach and pool are two of my favorite places to be, time with family and friends and those I love is how I like best spending my time. “All Students WILL Succeed”
