  7. Info • The Lusitania was sailing and a German U-boat fired a torpedo at her. It hit right under the bridge. Now if it was just the torpedo that hit the Lusitania, it would have lasted way more than 18 min. maybe it wouldn’t even have sunk, but the torpedo pierced into an empty coal bunker where it than started a fire and as she sank fire went all through her making it easier for the water to come in.

Speed Record • The Lusitania broke Atlantic speed records of 26.7 knots and her best time was going 25.58 and reaching her destination in 4 days 16 hours, and 40 minutes • In 1909 but that’s her best time. She also broke records that weren’t as fast in 1907 and that’s the year of her maiden voyage ,yep May 5, 1907.

  10. PICTURES & STORY • The Lusitania sank before W.W.1. In fact it got the Americans in it because the Lusitania was carrying 198 American passengers and 123 died. So then we went to war with Great Britten to fight the Germans. • The Lusitania is sinking, there’s smoke coming out, it’s cloudy, there’s a life boat in the water, there’s a wooden pole in the water.
