  4. Textiles : Pre Historic – Present day First evidence of textiles being used or material being produced was from the early pre historic period. 26.000 B.C the first needles were found. These needles belong to the mammoth hunters who used then to join together the skins of the animals to makes clothes, blankets and other items.   6. Textiles : Pre Historic – Present day China- Evidence exists for production of silk cloth in China in 500 and 300 BC. Used to create elaborate narrow-cuffed, knee-length tunics tied with a sash called Hanfu.

  12. Textiles : Pre Historic – Present day Industrial revolution 18th -19th century. New bolder design were being made with stronger colors. This was easily done due to the introduction of more advanced machines and chemicals.
