Mastering “…the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” Central Themes of the Epistles That Jesus Christ is the sign-working Son of God who gives eternal life on the basis of His death, burial, and resurrection to all who will believe in Him, that those same believers will one day be fully rewarded, that Christians are to recognize and to work for the truth of the gospel, and that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth, destroy all evil, and bring the kingdom of God to its glorious culmination
