  3. Signs of Puberty • Penis and testicles get larger • Erections, sperm produced- wet dreams • Shoulders and chest widen • Growth spurt- clumsiness • Muscles strengthen • Voice deepens • Adams apple • Spots, acne • Angry, frustrated, attraction- hormones Preparation for Reproduction

  4. Reproduction • Reproduction- essential. Why? • Different types of organisms reproduce in different ways • Sexual and Asexual • Different cells and different organs

  5. Sex cells • Humans reproduce sexually- both parents contribute HALF of the offspring’s genetic make up • The genetic information is carried on the SEX CELLS or GAMETES
