Office Of Legislative Affairs

The Office of Legislative Affairs works to sponsor, develop, and secure legislation through the legislative process. It facilitates review, informs and lobbies on behalf of boards, and provides technical assistance. Monitoring proposed legislation, liaisoning with CalEPA and GO, and engaging in legislative correspondence are key tasks. Proactively educating, networking, and notifying the legislature of significant actions are priorities.
