  3. 3 Brothers • Zeus: Heavens • Poseidon: Seas • Hades: Underworld

  4. Zeus – King of the gods; god of the sky and thunder.

  5. Hera – Queen of the gods; goddess of marriage and family (Zeus’ Wife)

  6. Poseidon – God of the seas

  7. Dionysus – God of celebrations

  8. Apollo – God of the sun, knowledge, music, and poetry.

  9. Artemis – Goddess of the hunt, children, archery, and all animals.

  10. Hermes – Messenger of the gods

  11. Athena – Goddess of wisdom and war; skillful at crafts

  12. Ares – God of war, violence, and bloodshed

  13. Aphrodite – Goddess of love and beauty

  14. Hephaestus – Master blacksmith to the gods; god of fire

  15. Demeter – Goddess of nature and the seasons.

  16. Persephone – Queen of the underworldHades tricked her and then forced her to live in the underworld.

  17. Hades - King of the underworld. God of the dead.

  18. Cyclops - Gigantic one-eyed monsters

  19. Oracle -The answer given by a god to a question asked by a human. This is how gods communicated to humans and gave them advice.
