  2. SPP 11 and 13Child Find Items on the district’s “Report Card” from the state. We were at approximately 98% last year. We were below Region 11 average rate. 75% of Region 11 were at 100%

  3. Suggestion • Schedule all of your annual ARDs at the beginning of the year • It’s not too late to do it this year. • This is a suggestion now. We are considering making it a mandate.

  4. Timelines • Must complete FIE within 60 days of initial consent. • Must conduct ARD within 30 days after the FIE is competed. • NOTE: This does not really mean that you have 90 days total.

  5. Child Find Worksheet • Emailed out to all case managers. • Send to your supervisor every 6 weeks. • Automatically calculates your timelines for you.

  7. Use Outlook To Your Benefit • When you receive a new referral, create a new “Appt” for when the FIE is due. • Use the reminder feature to set a 2 week reminder. • Schedule your ARD as soon as you are done with your FIE.

Check your FIE date when you ARD • Sometimes you can adjust the date of your FIE so that both of them are in compliance. • For example: • You complete your FIE in 20 days in consent. • 40 days later you ARD. • Out of compliance. • Adjust the date of your FIE to 31 days after consent. • In compliance.
